Dolphin Beach Hotel Lightweight Concrete Project

Liteconcrete in association with Ciolli Readymix was specified for more than 100 cubes of lightweight concrete screeds. These screeds where easily pumped into positions and placed in less than 4 hours. Venice House Heritage Project with Liteconcrete

This stunning Heritage building situated right next door to Greenmarket Square was recently lovingly restored into 36 boutique-style apartments by homeRENU , the European architecture was carried throughout the renovation with Liteconcrete's lightweight concrete blocks being specified to reduce load on the structure as well as provide excellent thermal and acoustic performance at affordable rates.

The Mutual Retail Renovation with Liteconcrete Walling

The Mutual renovation on the corner of Strand and Adderly Street Cape Town, completed in late 2024 by Isipani Construction offers 7500m2 of retail shopping space. Checkers being the anchor tenant specified Liteconcrete's lightweight concrete products for it obvious benefits of ultra-lightweight walling while still offering excellent fire, thermal and acoustic performance demanded by modern retail buildings.

The Barracks – Restoring a Landmark with Lightweight Innovation

Originally built in 1851, it was used as barracks in the Anglo-Boer War. Recently developed into an upmarket multi-level apartment refurbishment in the heart of Cape Town and was completed in 2023 by Bruce Dundace Master Builders. Liteconcrete's lightweight, recycled polystyrene concrete blocks were installed throughout to reduce load on the more than 170 year old base structure.

Blue Route Mall Facade – Built to Last with Liteconcrete ICF

Completed in 2012, Liteconcrete installed Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) lightweight walling to create the complex, layered façade of the Blue Route Mall. Despite the project's challenges, the use of innovative lightweight concrete materials ensured a smooth installation process — and 14 years later, the façade still looks exceptional.

Transhex Housing Project – Affordable, Sustainable Homes in the Breede Valley

Situated just outside Worcester in the Western Cape, Transhex Housing Project is providing much-needed housing in the Breede Valley region. Liteconcrete's lightweight concrete blocks proved to be the best solution for a successful completion of phase one in early 2023. Our M-range blocks and rib blocks were specified throughout the project.
